Medicinal Sound

Music and Voice has a profound healing power, not only because of the mathematical harmonies, scales and structures that are found everywhere in the natural realm, but also because of the deep loving energy that flows directly from Source through those beings who perform these powerful songs of wisdom, care and knowledge. Medicinal Music is closely related to Plant Medicine and often came to the singer through work with the plants as instructed by the plants themselves. These songs come to Maestros, Shamans and creative enlightened beings directly from the universe itself for self expression of Life, Medicine and Healing.
I share here some of my favourite singers and healers I came across around the globe.

Rainbow Sage.

“This is a song, that has travelled with me for a few years now, and I'm finally putting it out there now to share with the world. "Universe" was inspired by the ineffable, incomprehensible and magnificent world that we find ourselves navigating through. Full of mysteries, full of magic and full of deep secrets and hidden treasures of territories yet to be discovered. Inexplainable and unpredictable, and entirely unknown. Surrendering to the vast abyss of nothingness and everythingness, and simply tapping into gratitude and Awe of being a part of the miracle of existence.”

Alonso Del Rio.

Alonso del Río, lived in the jungle for 13 years following the training of a traditional healer under the guidance of Don Benito Arévalo, one of the most recognized Onaya Shipibo, who died in 2005 at age 84.

After learning the traditional songs of medicine shared by his teacher, he receives his own songs and introduces the use of the guitar in ceremonies, creating a sacred bridge between cultures and creating a new musical genre called Medicine Music.
